50 SITES, 50 STORIES - 50 YEARS OF ASHA

Australasian Society for Historical Archaeology - Fifty Sites, Fifty Stories [logo]

To celebrate the Australasian Society for Historical Archaeology's 50th year in 2020, we are collecting stories about important historical archaeological sites from the Australasian region. The 50 Sites 50 Stories initative will be published in time for the 50th Anniversary celebrations in November 2020.

Nominations have now closed, and we thank all of our nominators! The nomination information will be summarised and edited by the 50 Sites 50 Stories Committee to prepare 50 short site summaries. Nominators will have the opportunity to review and revise submitted data before being shared on the website, and will be acknowledged as contributing authors.

In the coming weeks the 50 Sites 50 Stories Committee will release a voting form, where ASHA members will be able to vote on the nominations to create the final list for the 50 Sites 50 Stories initiative. The voting form will be available here, and will also be shared around various social media and mailing list channels.

Thank you for your support of the ASHA 50 Sites 50 Stories initiative celebrating 50 Years of the Australasian Society for Historical Archaeology.
