  • I’ve forgotten my username and/or password. What do I do?

    If you know your username, click on the 'Forgotten Password' below the login box on the top left hand corner of the site.  The password will be sent to the email address you have on file.  If this has changed recently, and/or you don't receive it for some other reason, contact secretary@asha.org.au.

    If you don't know your username, contact secretary@asha.org.au.

    Tip

    You can change both your username and password to something more memorable on the 'My Membership' page, once you've logged in of course!

  • What are the payment options?

    ASHA offers the following payment options:

    1. Paypal

    You can pay using any credit card or debit account linked to your own Paypal account. You must set up an account with Paypal, but ASHA does not see or handle any confidential financial information.

    2. Cheque or Money Order

    If you wish to renew your membership or purchase publications online, simply select the 'Cheque/Money Order' payment option when you check out of the Shop. Then print out a copy of the Order Confirmation and post along with your cheque or money order to:

    If you prefer not to renew or order publications online, simply fill in the relevant mail-order form (membership or publication) and post along with your cheque/money order to the address above.

    Cheques should be in Australian dollars and made out to: ASHA Inc.

    Orders will be processed once the cheque has been banked and funds cleared.

    3. Credit card (via mail order)

    At the moment ASHA can only accept credit card payment via mail order.  If you wish to pay by credit card but do not wish to use Paypal, download the relevant mail-order form (membership or publication) , complete your credit card details and post to the Secretary.

    Secure, online credit card payments will be available soon.

  • Why do the publication prices seem to change?

    Publications are sold to members at a discount rate, but the discounted members rate only appears when you are logged in as a member and your membership is current. 

    If you are a new member or your membership is expired, we recommend that you purchase your subscription first and then log back in to order publications at the discount rate. 

  • A title in my shopping cart says 'Price on Application'. What does this mean?

    If a title in your carts says 'Price on Application', the title is currently unavailable or is only available to members.  You must be logged in as a current member to buy members-only publications or publications at discount prices.  If you are a current member and logged on and can still see 'Price on Application' contact the webmanager@asha.org.au.

  • How long will it take to ship my item?

    See the shipping page for details.

  • If I purchase a membership subscription online, will I get immediate access to members-only resources?

    If you pay by credit card or Paypal, new and renewing members will gain access to the members-only resources automatically.  Members who are rejoining the Society after a lapse of more than a year will receive access within one business day.

    If you choose to pay by cheque, your member profile will be activated once the cheque has been received, banked and cleared.

    Note:

    The members only resources appear in the navigation panel, under 'Current Members'.  If your member profile has been updated and you still can't access the members-only resources, contact webmanager@asha.org.au.
