In August 2008, ASHA will release the first volume of the new publication series ‘Studies in Australasian Historical Archaeology’. The series begins with Port Essington: The historical archaeology of a north Australian nineteenth-century military outpost by Jim Allen.

To celebrate the release of Port Essington and to raise funds for future publications, ASHA is offering a special pre-publication price of $40 for members and $45 for non-members.  if purchased directly from the society.
