Past Conferences

Are you looking for information about past ASHA conferences? The first ASHA annual conference was held in Sydney on 29-30 October 1981. Since then the society has held conferences each year, apart from 2020. Many conferences have been jointly held with the Australian Institute for Maritime Archaeology (AIMA), the Australian Archaeological Association (AAA), the Australian Association for Maritime History (AAMH), the Australian Association of Consulting Archaeologists Incorporated (AACAI) and Interpretation Australia (IA). Early conferences were documented in the society newsletter. You can find archived versions of the conference pages listed below. Many, many thanks to those ASHA members and friends who have supplied information and copies of past conference programs.
